Abominable is proudly donating 50% of our proceeds towards helping build skateparks in underprivileged communities.

"Decks for Parks" is a personal initiative of a verynice design studio in collaboration with Abominable Apparel and RWS skateboards.

Each "Decks for Parks" board that is sold promises to donate a portion of the proceeds to organizations that are working to build skateparks in local and underprivileged communities, such as the Tony Hawk Foundation.

Matthew Manos, the founder of a verynice design studio, started skateboarding in parks at the age of 4, and found the experience of skateboarding life-changing, helping him to see the world the way he does today. Skateboarding has the natural ability to foster a person's creativity, and teaches the importance of respect.

Why skateparks?

Skateparks keep our youth safe from gang culture, drugs, and violence. Skateparks also help drastically reduce vandalism in our communities, making these parks are a win win for both the community and the character building of our youth, the world's next leaders.
